Those days when you feel reluctant to get up early and go to the dining hall... 

It's always not a bad idea to create your own breakfast menu out of the limited groceries and kitchen facilities available.You will be surprised at how much satisfaction a simple meal prepared by yourself could offer.

I was in my room all day long with piles of books and notes and past year papers... so dull and boring that I really feel like fast-forwarding everything to 8.30pm of 22nd June. (last paper fyi)

I thought.

until I got an unexpected 'Chatime' delivery :B

Though it wasn't my favourite flavour, I couldn't stop smiling from the first sip all the way till the last 'pearl'. It's the thought that counts, really.

A good start

Started my first paper of the term yesterday and I am glad to say that I had given my best shot.

Although I thought that the paper was pretty easy, it was tedious and the probability of making careless mistakes was relatively high. Nevertheless I swear I was being extra paranoid and careful  when solving each question. Doing like this was time consuming but at least safer.

So presumably nothing went wrong I think I am definitely getting a perfect score this time.whee this is a very good start :D

 

Steph and Hana were busy discussing their Stats paper after coming back and I had not enough energy to shoo them out of my room. Standing ON my comfy bed! Vandalizing my whiteboard! wth and it's not like I remember the topics in that module also (I took it like..last year?) Couldn't even join in the conversation! But still, my two darlings were just funny and lovable I just sit there and stare at them :) ♥

 

 Woke up this morning when Ms Campbell delivered these sweet things to my room.
Exam Care Package! :') huhu best Housemistress on earth thank you so much it made our day.

And then I remember a few days back daddy sent me a cheesy email with all the motivational elements in it as usual. At first I laughed so hard because he's too cute to write a letter for his daughter. I mean how many people's daddy do that? I laughed because I sensed that he's trying to do something really inspiring and touching and I was like : No, daddy you please don't try to do cheesy stuffs I am so not gonna fall into your trap & cry like mummy haha :D But at last I still shed some tears partly because I was tired after studying and felt homesick at the same time. Gee thanks daddy you successfully made my eyes puffy the next morning.

and then I also recalled all the cute, naggy words of wisdom from ze monkey, asking me when's my first paper, have I been studying, whether I have got any further maths questions to ask or not etc.

There are so many people supporting my back. Seriously what else could I ask for..

Oh yeah it's my favourite month of the year.
ehehe.

Trials are coming up next week and I'm so not prepared yet! especially history >.< My teacher was being sarcastic yet funny at the same time. She said she will just let us 'free fall' for trials first LOL. will help us do more revision after that.

oohh look at ze hair colour under flash. I just like to look at my hair colour and feel happy that it's not the dull and boring black.  Hard to explain, you know, the kind of feeling..."ooh my hair really got brown colour one lor" haha

I'm wearing Slim Walk's Compression Stockings bought from Japan every night. Hopefully it will really slim down my pair of fat legs :P ish I really envy people having long and sexy legs without any effort. SO NOT FAIR. boo.




Anyway, I just realized these days that happiness can be the simplest thing in our daily life.
For instance, having a good afternoon nap by snuggling into my comfy bed while it's raining like cats and dogs outside.

Or another simple example.. listening to your voice and feeling you near me. Simple, pure happiness :)

4 years

is not a short period.



Things changed, people changed, the way your heart feels changed.
oh, and my hair grew longer.

It's really amazing to realize how much time could do to make us grow in just a short time.

Anyway, Happy Valentine's Day to all sweet couples on earth :)

I am not really celebrating because oh well, hmm, simply because I have no date. boo :P
But still, I'm happy because our Interact Club earned quite a lot for our annual Valentines day Sale! *kaching kaching* haha! people can really become irrational consumers when it comes to love. Seriously, it's not like it's cheap also. lol.

Hmm. Valentine's day has always been the pathetic day of the year which I seriously feel like sleeping throughout the whole day. Since I can get envious of other people really easily, I might as well just avoid myself from seeing people with big bouquets of roses and teddy bears while I walk with my single girl friends, pretending that I don't give a damn and that I'm contented with my friends accompanying me.

It's really sad I would say.

I know we always say things like: Valentine's day is not the only day to show your affection to your loved ones and also not the day to just celebrate with your lover. / It doesn't matter whether you have a date or not, it's the day to spread out love to your friends and family too! / Single rocks! / etc.

.... bullshit :(

It's just like the story of a fox saying that the grapes up there are sour and not juicy just because it couldn't reach them.

Yes, I am happy with all my family and friends around me. but at this age, who wouldn't want someone special to be there with them? seriously who? I doubt.



I felt a little bit emo and I actually complained to my buddy, Nick about it. Sorry if I bugged you too much :) I mean, there were so many girls in our school that received roses this morning and why am I not one of them? Don't I deserve something too? I thought.

and then I started to calm down a bit and accepted the fact again that I need to wait longer for my turn. I actually started doing my homework and stuff happily like usual again :D  *high recovery rate*

Ferris wheel is ♥

Was busy packing to go back to college just now and got emotional when the song 'Waltz', ending theme song of my all-time-favourite anime was playing on iTunes. so I decided to 'korek' out one of my favourite photo shot in Japan to post it up here.

Hmm, holiday's ending, hectic life is approaching. and oh, examinations are waiting.

HoHoHoHoliday

, only for a month though.

Term 3 has ended and I am now back in my hometown, Penang.
I'm supposed to have lots of fun this year end but damn, I just can't forgo the fact that Edexcel Maths exams are coming real soon in January. It's super duper important because there are papers that will determine my fate, literally. lol

So i guess my companion for this Christmas would be tons of practice papers, solomon press papers, past year papers etc. whee, how exciting! -.-

'Bling-ed' my calculator with some cheap craft gems. Now that she's so pretty the owner's always feeling enthusiastic whenever she do maths :D

Received these cute X'mas cookies dedication from my dear KTJ friends before end-of-term.
Felt so guilty because I didn't order for them. Blame the character built up from being an economics student. but alas, I did bake some by myself for all my close friends on the last day of the term. Cost effective plus lots of love. Hah! :P

Misa Amane for a night

Last Monday was a public holiday and our college's student council and prefectorial board organized a social night based on the theme 'Fright Night'. Some sort of belated halloween celebration in the school.

Have been thinking of what character to play since we prefects first came out with the idea of fright night. Well, many didn't take it seriously but I did. LOL. I mean, costume parties are always fun! Many people dressed up as vampires, devils etc. and as always, I wanted to be a bit different :P

I could have just face-painted myself into a scary zombie or some shit but yea, I wanted to look good. duh. So I thought of Misa Amane from Death Note. She's pretty cute and sexy which I sort of want myself to be like that. chey. A more important fact is that she's 19 years old. Bingo! done.

The problem is that Misa from the manga/anime has blonde hair and wears gothic lolita kinda of clothing. I didn't really want to spend money on getting clothes I won't wanna wear after this and I was not really willing to get a blonde wig. BUT>>>> Misa from the film series was not a blonde barbie! In fact, her outfit varies and is not too erm...extreme lol.

So, tada! This is the outcome. quite nice eh? :)

I guess it's almost zero cost to get this whole thing done. Black dress, stockings and heels were already mine and not newly bought. The only thing I bought was one metre of black ribbons for my hair? which was quite cheap. 

Toy apple was from my house and I made my own Death Note! Wheeeee how cool is that ;)

Let me explain briefly on how to make my own death note prop.

1) Get an exercise book. ( I got it free from the 'kolej shop' lol. can even do maths inside actually)

2) Wrap it with Black Sugar Paper. (again, I got sugar paper free from 'kolej shop'. lololol )

3) Print out the logo of the Death Note and cut out word by word. ( For my case, I was making the 2nd death note owned by Misa thus the wordings are different from Kira's death note)

4) Glue the cut-out wordings onto the exercise book. DONE!

smart leh lol. =)

I was really proud of myself. Imagine that, dancing with high heels for 2 hours and then walk back to your house. I know,  because I'm cool like that :D  *slaps self*

The party was okay..it got pretty boring sometimes coz it's a school event inside the campus and thus no alcohol was allowed. Meh..........how to get high wor you tell me -.-  but yea, I enjoyed more on dolling-up and chillaxing with your classmates than squeezing with people with wet, smelly armpits.
