A fruitful day at HK Disneyland

I decided to use the word fruitful simply because I completed most of the rides (and those I missed out were merely kiddish things like Dumbo ride and Cinderella Carousel etc.) Perhaps it's because the theme park itself is a little too..small. Ok in fact, it is. That's why it's so much easier for me to accomplish 'missions' in the park compared to the one in Tokyo.

Ok on that day I woke up really early in the morning because it's the day to visit the happiest place on earth (as if) where people there live-happily-ever-after whee lalala so excited yada yada.

but actually..

I woke up coz that gigantic char siew pau in my dream vanished suddenly.

( ̄▽ ̄)*stomach growling*

Yum Zou Cha! Nothing beats a cup of warm Chinese tea in the morning. Nothing!

err wait.. did I say nothing?

My char siew bau~~~ ( ˘ ³˘)♥

HK style Congee.
We picked century eggs, fish and scallop to be added into it.. all the 'holiao'..slurps.

In fact it's already delicious without any add-ons.

I didn't know why we ordered this because it doesn't look yummy at all.
"eww who puts vege inside chee cheong fun??!!"  I doubted.

Damn. Don't judge the book by its cover.
The taste's surprisingly matching!

Steamed raddish cake and abalone siew mai behind.
mmmm nom nom nom.

Hong Kong style yum zou cha.. tick!

Morning in Sheung Wan.

Finally get to ride on the Disneyland monorail. Finally.
It was my biggest regret on my last visit to Tokyo Disnyeland because we followed the travel agency so we had to go by bus. -.-" I remember myself contemplating the monorail like a sad kid that time. SO KELIAN i felt like crying. haha

so you happy now, Grace?

(´∀`)♡

:) Met my childhood friend Mickey Mouse!
"Gosh Mickey, it's been a while! I miss you so muchhh"

"Oii you guys don't stand so close can or not? Think I'm blind ah?! "

\(≧▽≦)/ lol at my lame puns!

A scene inside 'it's a small world'. I thought it looks like Madagascar.
Lovely ride overall.. but damn wu liao hahaha

Photo posing level: Chinese.

I secretly think that we look kinda sweet together. HAHAHA no meh? (´∀`)

Wtf we look kinda matching here too.
Short and fat. Nooooooo!

The Golden Mickeys. MUST WATCH.
I personally felt that it was pretty heart-warming..with all the classic Disney songs :)

Lunch time at the Royal Banquet Hall.

I know right, Japanese food in Hong Kong -.-

but heck, it's a freaking Mickey Mouse rice ball how can I not order?
 \|°▿▿▿▿°|/

Just another irrational moment.
Still couldn't believe I spent freaking HKD 25 just for a mouse-shaped ice cream. Which didn't taste nice at all lor.

I just love tree houses soo much and I don't care if my face look like char siew pau here.
kthxbai pls scroll down.

eh I say scroll down.

Parade called Flight of Fantasy.

Hmm Chip looks like some Ah Beng here.
Is it because it's Hong Kong Disneyland so they made it look more like Chinese?

Oh hai Mr. short and fat.

Why act cute? haha

err. her hair reminds me of soba somehow..

Ok enough. Lazy to post more parade pics. Haha but the parade's theme song was pretty catchy!
I like it in Cantonese.

In Toy Story land. I like the idea of Toy Soldier Parachute Drop!
I thought it was creative :)

If you ask me which Disney character I like most..hmm I can't give you the exact answer but yea,
 it's either Chip or Dale!

and their tree house. heh.

Left the park before it gets dark because the weather that day was too hot I couldn't stand it anymore. Had the great urge to rush back for a good shower. And some good hong kong food for dinner. Seriously forget about fireworks lah.

Even though I tried numerous times convincing myself "hey, it isn't THAT bad like what people said", to be frank, this Disneyland is kind of disappointing. Too small, too many mainland Chinese (truth you know what I mean. nothing against Chinese I'm also a descendant ) and a lil too...commercialized? I don't know.

But to its credit, I guess I did had fun after all. At least the queue to take photos with Mickey Mouse and friends wasn't that long. heh ( ´ ▽ ` )

Next time, Paris Disneyland!
