HELLO I'm back :) 

 Ok let's bombard you with a self-portrait of the day first :P

Ok. I don't think I'm genuinely smiling actually. lol.

I call this the cunning smile with lots of shrewd thinking on my mind  >:P

As usual I have not been updating for quite a while. Sorry guys I was trying to focus on my exam *coughs* lol. 

Anyway now that it's already over, I can finally spend some time blogging here :)

Heh. So how's everyone doing?  It's November already at the blink of eye. So fast isn't it...

Nothing much happening this few weeks, life's pretty dull actually. BLAME EXAM. urgh.

and after this re-sit paper it's not like I can rest already. My most important papers in the whole wide world *not exaggerating* ---Maths papers are coming in January. It's the most crucial chance for me to accumulate the marks I need and then confirm an A* for Maths. Yes, Let's do it!!! Let's don't resit anything in june! it's just too risky.  

Ohhh btw this reminds me that I can't go home for CNY next year :((((((  arghhhh can you imagine that? Maths exam on the 1st and 3rd day of CNY?! >.<  those angmohs are so not considerate. oh well, guess we'll all have to stay back and celebrate with our fellow batchmates. Hmm i thought i would only start to miss CNY when I fly over to UK but wth now I get to 'practice' before hand. *sobs*

I think my wallpaper is so pretty that it makes my laptop so feminine :3  ah this gives me good mood every day =)

Whilst trying to catch up with A2 stuffs there's always time for me to have some entertainment :D All work and no play makes Gracey a dull girl. yessss I've come out with a To-Watch list for the month.

1) You are the apple of my Eye. 那些年，我们一起追的女孩

Weeee bought tickets already I'm watching this Sunday :) So freaking in love with the whole story since I watched the trailer. which tempted me to go and read the book and after finishing it I was like...

The movie theme song is so catchy as well. I've been influencing people around me by singing everyday :P oh yea, and of course 柯振东 is da bomb! that 20-years-old hot dude! all of us were like, huhhhh 20 only so near to our age :DD lol girls girls.

2) Paradise Kiss (Movie!!)

Paradise Kiss, I thought it was one of the most beautiful anime after Honey and Clover. Love their theme song 'Lonely in Gorgeous' so much! and it's still my all time favourite ♥

I was so so so excited when I first saw the movie trailer earlier this year! And the excitement was elevated even more when I see Osamu Mukai starring as George! I've fallen in love with him ever since he acted in 'Atashinchi no danshi' and Honey&clover the drama.  Found it at mysoju.com and yes!! can finally watch now! :)

3) Scent of a Woman 

This korean drama rocks! recommended by hana, I am so into it now and trying to finish it as soon as possible! Okay Lee Dong Woo is actually quite hot in the drama we all scream like shit whenever there are scenes of him showering. *blushes* but oh well, I think I'm more in love with Uhm Ki Joon, the smart & cute doctor in it (the 1st guy from left)  yea i prefer him ♥ and of course, theme songs always make a huge impact. It's Xiah/ Junsu singing and he even appears in one episode :)

4) ...........erm, it's pointless to keep on going. coz the list is never ending haha!

There are actually a lot more. But I don't have time for everything la. I want to watch 犀利人妻 also, it was so hit but I never watch before leh. quite outdated :/  and oh, I realised that I still love Asian movies and drama more :D Especially Japanese one. I just finished watching one actually (lol).. 

Watched/ Recommended: 

'I give my first love to you'   ------ touching story. though there are not much ups and down in the movie, in fact quite a typical Japanese sad romance, it's still so beautiful!

I cried at the end of the movie :(  oh you can watch on youtube!

Sigh, if only I have more free time....sigh sigh sigh.

Princess hour at Go-Gung

 It was 3rd day and also last day of our college's exeat. I was so bored staying in the boarding house all day long and was tired of prep, internet and afternoon naps.

I guess I overestimated myself. I thought I could 'tahan' or control my desires by forcing myself to be a宅女 (zhai nv: girls that are extremely anti-social & prefer to stay in the house than going out) for a few days. Oh well, I was still thinking that I could maybe study really hard...

Ish. Totally failed!  

Note to self:

Never trust yourself again. NEVER EVER.

but I swear it was worth going out for a short while. I got to eat some good food, at least :)

After shopping for an hour in mid valley, we went over to Gardens to hunt for food, as usual.

Since Hana (my Korean bathroom buddy/we share a detached bathroom) was with me, we thought of going for Go-Gung, which is situated just next to 'Art Friend'.

The ambience and decoration inside Go-Gung was really nice. As the restaurant's name intended, it was literally like a little palace inside. Plus, there were so many well dressed waiters and there weren't much people dining there (but the price's actually okay if you don't order too much meat) so it gave us the ultimate VIP feeling. Felt like some korean princess for a moment, as my post title suggested.

Side dishes. According to Hana, to know the standard of the restaurant, you should always try their Kimchi first.

Mmmmm.. Yumzzz. Food test: Tick!

I wanted to order Bibimbap but I just had one during my last shopping trip to The Gardens. LOL..too obsessed with mixing/stirring my food I guess? Just like how much I love to order Pepper Lunch.

Hana and I both ordered Bulgogi while Angie got herself some Kimchi stew thingy.
I have to say that their Bulgogi was really commendable. It was a bliss to my taste buds. It has got the  sweet taste I like and when you wrap the beef with lettuce and put it into your mouth, it was like 5 seconds in heaven. mmmmm.

I have also tasted a few spoonful of the Kimchi stew and I thought it has got its standard. Goes perfectly well with white rice when you don't have much appetite.

Chinese princesses? lol.

If I were rich enough (grrr allowance not banked in yet) I would have also ordered other dishes like Pajeon or Gimbap. But oh well, can't finish anyway. Save for next time then.

exeat 1st day

Exeat's starting today but I'm not going anywhere. I'm quite used to staying back in KTJ and enjoy my peaceful break. Will probably go out for a short while on Sunday to dine-in some good restaurant in The Gardens Mall..and shop for groceries. I'm so desperate for good food :P

Hmm. Just 2 months to go.  I keep convincing myself to strive a little bit more. 2 months of hard work and I shall have an awesome break! I'm going overseas this year for my end-of-year-holiday! Didn't get to go last year so I'm very looking forward to go this time. lalala :)

I don't know what to update about actually. Life here in KTJ is like..hmm..oh well..what more to say? Sometimes I'll be very very busy and stressed but sometimes I'll just eat and sleep like there's no tomorrow.

Oh yea, i'm sharing with you guys this so cool yet so lame joke. I like it :D

Anyway, my resit paper for History is coming soon! I'm quite excited actually. lol. Can't wait to nail that History like shit. I just want to get rid of it as soon as possible and then focus on my January maths modules. Wish me luck ;)

New bangs!

People! I'm back again for a super short update. Miss me, no? :P

Hehe. Tell me if it's nice :) I went to Mid Valley last Sat to cut my bangs. Apparently, friends had been saying that I look fierce without fringe. So, yea...way much cuter now right? ehehe *slaps own self*


Time flies, it's already October now! hmm. Glad to say that personal statement is 90% done, with 10% dissatisfaction. Hoping predicted grades to be okay..seriously, I want to go UCL. Even though I don't mind other good unis but still...argh of course we always aim for the best, right?
But damn, why is Economics such a competitive course! Why are there so many people that want to go ucl huh? why compete with me?! LOL. noooooo I'm gotta be positive :)

haha it's like my prep time music now.

Hmm haven't been updating for a week. As busy as usual, I can now see myself in the future as a workaholic. I'd really love to rest but whenever I start to rest and do nothing, something will just pop up in my life and tada, I've got myself another task. It's never ending. I can never have my own sweet time doing nothing for long. There's always something to be done that finds me in life. Or vice versa. Either way.

And when I say work I mean things like Extra Curriculum Activities, not studies. But wait, I don't neglect my studies okay? In fact, I sort of enjoy revising for exam. lol.

If you know me well, it's obvious that I am not those kind of people that like to nerd in their rooms. Since long ago, I am already actively involved in lots of fun ECAs. I really enjoy myself, especially when you get to lead people. But hey, don't misinterpret, I am NOT a dictator and I don't fancy power. I am neither Hitler or Kim Jong Il, thank you. C'mon la, I'm like the sweetest boss ever :P

I am just naturally passionate in working with people. However, I don't really like following people even though I can be a very successful follower. I am a control freak, i would say. I hate it when my ideas and plans got rejected just because I don't get the say in the board. Doesn't it suck when you know that you can actually do better but you just have to give face to the boss? It sucks even more when it's YOUR IDEA and it becomes his/her credit. F*cking frustrating. 

I am usually confident at my own ability and I know that I can achieve certain things I want in life. That's why I can proudly say I've achieved quite a number of things in KTJ. However, once I am given the post and power, I kind of chicken out. It's just ironic that I used to crave for leading the whole team but once I get to do that it does not taste as nice as expected.

It's not an easy job, seriously. You get more pressure because you have more responsibility to shoulder. And then I start to think why was I so ambitious and now I get myself more and more 'ma fan'.  I could just live a simple and happy life but WHY? Why do I have to do all these when everyone else just eat and sleep. I know why. It comes to a conclusion, a simple word: Passion.

I love doing all these even it's tiring. I know that next time in my career life, I will definitely do the same. Haha can you imagine me working in the bank next time? I bet I will be like a crazy woman working OT until late night and keep on grabbing the opportunity to be promoted. Realistic much? Oh well, you can judge me anyway you like but I really love all these shit. Not the power but the satisfaction of gaining something in your life. <3
