Inspiring, isn't it?

I just have to keep on gulping especially at number 13.
Like seriously, guilty to the max!  Is this God's purpose to show me this today when I'm being unproductive? If it is, then gosh, it really helps. 感恩。

Let's continue to bok sat!
Oh by the way 'bok sat' means work really hard in Cantonese. It's almost equivalent to 'pia' in Hokkien. Whee. cute word right ♥ :)

and I am so going to stay up tonight.
Yes, call me the unhealthy owl or anything you like. Whatever la I am never a morning person anyway.

And I don't need to fret about any worsening condition of my puffy/panda eyes because I have my secret beauty weapon!!

Pre-moistened eye pads soaked in cucumber essence. Pretty cool huh?
It works better when you put it in the refrigerator before using.

but frankly speaking this product is quite redundant actually. Don't really see much effect after using. Might as well just buy real cucumbers and put on your eyes. Cheaper somemore.

Oh well.. Girls and their irrationality :)

March march march

Oh yeah it's my favourite month of the year.
ehehe.

Trials are coming up next week and I'm so not prepared yet! especially history >.< My teacher was being sarcastic yet funny at the same time. She said she will just let us 'free fall' for trials first LOL. will help us do more revision after that.

oohh look at ze hair colour under flash. I just like to look at my hair colour and feel happy that it's not the dull and boring black.  Hard to explain, you know, the kind of feeling..."ooh my hair really got brown colour one lor" haha

I don't know why am I posting this stupid photo of my fugly fat carrot legs.
A total ruin of my image hahahahah

I'm wearing Slim Walk's Compression Stockings bought from Japan every night. Hopefully it will really slim down my pair of fat legs :P ish I really envy people having long and sexy legs without any effort. SO NOT FAIR. boo.

Anyway, I just realized these days that happiness can be the simplest thing in our daily life.
For instance, having a good afternoon nap by snuggling into my comfy bed while it's raining like cats and dogs outside.

Or another simple example.. listening to your voice and feeling you near me. Simple, pure happiness :)

Food for skin

helloooo! can't believe I'm actually updating my blog again haha *so not me ^___^

And about today's post, it's not like I am trying to imply that I am very pro at taking care of my face (in fact I'm super lazy sometimes! haha) but I think it would be cool to share with you readers about my daily skin care products.

I mean, I can get really excited about all the bottles and tubes of skin care  :D

P.S. just sharing my personal experiences, not doing advertorial for them. Even though I wish I could have the chance to :D

I have the 3 basic necessities like everyone does : facial wash, toner and moisturizer.
and I have stopped using high-end skincare products from counters (if you get what i mean) because I realized that my skin couldn't really adapt to those 'luxuries' yet. Good lah, save money :)

It's obvious from the photo above, you can see that I really fancy Japanese skin care a lot. Notice all the Japanese words lol. I don't use Western brand anymore because to me, I somehow feel that those skin care products are formulated according to the needs of the Caucasian skin type and therefore wouldn't really suit Asian skin as much as those of Asian home brands.

And oh well, I am biased towards Japanese products :P

So.. let's see.. in case you don't understand my photo...

Facial wash:
I have two:  Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Face Wash & Nano White Awakening Snow Wash.  I use these two alternatively according to my mood haha.. But I tend to use Nano white more when I feel that my skin is oily/dusty or other words, dirtier. lol. It gives a cleaner and more refreshing feeling which Hada Labo lacks. but no doubt Hada Labo has got a really good moisturizing effect so I usually use it before I sleep.

Toner:
Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizing Lotion. This is a pretty popular product which is the No.1 bestseller in Japan and I am sure that most Malaysian girls are using this nowadays. Needless to explain more, its selling point, the super moisturizing effect and whatever 'one drop locks up the whole ocean' tagline is really not lying.

Moisturizer:
Muji's All in one essence. (The pink jar) It's a new product and apparently also a hit item in Japan because like its name suggests, it is a 3 in 1 mixture of toner/化妆水, moisturizer/乳液 and ‘beauty fluid'/美容液. Pretty cool isn't it.. I sometimes will just skip my hada labo toner and only use this after washing my face whenever I feel lazy. A great product, but after some time I start to dislike the gel-like texture. A bit too jelly-ish I would say.

Not forgetting to mention that I love using Japanese cotton pads instead of the normal ones. I forgot to take picture of these cute fluffy Japanese cotton pads but seriously, just try once and you will never want to use the normal ones anymore. Why? Simply because of the quality. They won't leave fluff or lint on your face like the usual ones do which is mad love!!! Got 2 boxes of 'Good Puff' at only RM5 from Daiso. damn cheap :D

And then let's see..

Make up remover:
Mandom Beauty Cleansing Express Moist Cleansing Lotion. Another cool Japanese product lol.
You can easily get these from Watsons Japasnese skin care counter. The main thing I like about it is because it is water based which doesn't make my face feel greasy after use. Plus, it contains moisturizing essence too so you basically can just go to sleep straight after wiping off your make-up using this awesome make up remover. No need to wash/apply lotion.

I used to have face scrubs like St.Ives (which is really good too! just that I didn't restock) but currently I am using this awesome substitution I got from Japan. Sanshokaken Shizenbi Natural Beauty Peeling Gel.  It basically shares the same function as facial scrub except the fact that it is less harsh to your skin. Usually use this twice a week.

And of course, MASKSSSSS.

The best of all haha! I have plenty of them and this is considered very little already because I haven't restocked yet. lol. There are so many choices of brands out there and I really can't say which one is better but.. I'm really in love with Taiwan's brand My Beauty Diary since long ago. If you remember my post in 2010  Others like Kracie from Japan (the red ones) and the cute cartoon mask from Korea (gift from my aunt). I've tried Hada Labo's moisturizing mask and it is seriously good as well but is a lil pricey to me. Oh and the heal pharm nose strips ( the white ones) are really awesome too they take away your annoying blackheads effectively!

Okla that's it for now. Haha reviewing skin care products sure is fun!! hehe
Albeit so, I guess drinking sufficient amount of water is fairly important too which I usually don't practice. I am working hard on this to keep myself hydrated all the time. And also avoid oily food. which I also knew this since forever but it's always an epic failure :/

Do share with me your beauty tips too, yes?

_________________________ extra/random:

By the way after seeing Xiaxue with her extremely cute pet Holland lop, Igloo, I have this sudden urge to get one for myself too. I want a pet rabbit! not the usual ugly rabbit but a CUTE Holland lop/mini lop!

Just look at its face. awwwww  *melts*

huhuhu whatcha looking at? >:3

*pulls hair* TOO CUTE! I want one! They just remind me about my favourite Enid Blyton story I read when I was 7 or 8.."The little white rabbit" which i think is a Holland lop and not any normal rabbit with boring standing ears, according to the illustration in the book. <3

I think the price is around 500 bucks for a 8 week baby but it's cheaper in UK. So, yea, I'll control myself...and buy one when I go to London this September. Can't wait :3

Stay healthy

Hellooo :3

Blueberries dunked into yogurt. mmmm ♥ the goodness of healthy food :)

I sort of enjoy grocery shopping nowadays. Just bought some nice fruits and raisins back that day from cold storage. SO HAPPY :)
It makes me feel like a grown-up whenever I am shopping for nutritious healthy food, particularly. Unhealthy stuffs seldom get into my trolley and I have promised myself to not buy any instant noodles and potato chips kind of junk food anymore. Not trying to say that I'm such a health conscious freak but at least, I'm starting to take care of my health.

I just realised that, I have already way passed 18 years old and if I keep on taking myself for granted by consuming anything I like and crave to eat without considering the side effects, I am actually on the track of committing suicide. You would say I'm still young and why should I even care but it's hard to say, we never know what will happen in the future. Prevention is better than cure isn't it?

Well of course, you think I'm so 'guai' meh? lol.

Life would be so pathetic without all these heavenly delicious shit.
Of course I still consume unhealthy food like fast food and the super oily hawker food. I'm a typical Penangtie that can't live without hawker.

It's just that throughout my boarding life here, I try to reduce the amount of unhealthy food as much as possible. I try to consume more of fruits, veges and less of carbs and fried things.

And then there's this vow I've made with my friend, Steph that I would not consume anything after 9pm every night, except for healthy shitz like toasted oats, milk, fruits, plain crackers, raisins etc. I did broke the rule a few times, totally forgetting about it by eating cakes offered by my friends. Too much temptation and I swear I totally forgot about it until I took the 2nd bite. oops :P In spite of those 'accidents', on the whole I think I'm quite an obedient girl :)

But I'm still a lazy fella and I don't exercise regularly, which is bad. bad bad bad. That's why now I'm writing here to promise myself to work hard towards a healthy lifestyle. Besides my regular swimming every monday, I think there's a need for more swimming per week, and more joggings.
Okay? :D Just do it.

Okay, sleep earlier tonight and wake up early tomorrow for breakfast! Don't stay up too much and don't skip breakfast ♥♥

New bangs!

People! I'm back again for a super short update. Miss me, no? :P

weeee I'm back to 15 years old. lol say I look young! :D

Ok. not really true when I don't smile.

Hehe. Tell me if it's nice :) I went to Mid Valley last Sat to cut my bangs. Apparently, friends had been saying that I look fierce without fringe. So, yea...way much cuter now right? ehehe *slaps own self*

Time flies, it's already October now! hmm. Glad to say that personal statement is 90% done, with 10% dissatisfaction. Hoping predicted grades to be okay..seriously, I want to go UCL. Even though I don't mind other good unis but still...argh of course we always aim for the best, right?
But damn, why is Economics such a competitive course! Why are there so many people that want to go ucl huh? why compete with me?! LOL. noooooo I'm gotta be positive :)

Exactly.

So,

OK. BYE <3

March, the start of my own calendar

"YAY! It's MARCH! It's MARCH!"

<3
It's been a while. Sorry lah. (why is my opening always like this? tsk tsk.) It's so obvious that I haven't recovered from my lazy-to-blog syndrome yet. aww man.

Anyways...
Once again, my favourite month of the year has arrived! *claps*
oh come on, I know you love march :P

Cause it's my month! HEH. ^_____^

In my world, the year has just begun.
Happy New Year Gracey~~!!!!
(ok that's creepy -.-)

So, HELLO WORLD! How are you? How's everything going on out there?
geez I'm stucked in ktj again, preparing for my AS trials, which is like, in a week??!! Prepare to die lah gracey. *shakes head*

Most of my friends had already finished their pre-u course and are all now preparing to go for unis. Super sien lo I tell you. I still have one and a half year to go >.< But nvm la, I'll enjoy my 'youth' until the fullest here. *ehem ehem*

Visited guardians again as usual (I call it my dad's shop. lol) coz I really love shopping in there. Like, seriously, it's a must-go store whenever I go for shopping. and I can spend up to an hour just in that small store, coming out with my pockets and wallet bleeding. Hmm I guess every girl does that. Don't you, girl? :)

*LOVES*

Bought the trial set of hada labo moisturizing series. Coz apparently, I'm just not used to luxurious branded skin care. They are just too good for me. My previous skin care set which starts with a k wasn't bad, in fact it's so much more expensive, shouldn't it be super duper good? but, I was wrong. It made me feel...Old. LOL Ok for instance, keep feeding yourself with loads and loads of bird's nest. You get my point? In other words, I'm now looking for something simple yet perfect for my poor skin.

Well, I'm not doing advertisement for them..but frankly speaking, this product is awesome! I mean, the immediate effect after using it proved my point just now. I'm not sure whether it will suit me in long term or not but..oh well, so far so good. Have been trying for 3 days, so, we'll see :)

I'm so lazy and sleepy and useless nowadays. All I want is just eat, sleep and play. You know, I really wish that I could just tell my roommate everyday: "ehh wake me up when it's dinner time, kay?" Man, how I wish.......

IS THAT ME??? That lazy fat cat there??
Okay, that's Garfield. -.-'

geez -.- My reading rate has been declining lately. No wait, I'm always slow actually.
Arrgh I'm so mad at myself. Must accelerate from now on. It's totally a MUST.  How do you study fast and effective? Like how? TEACH ME LAH.. I'm half dead T_______________T

HMM. I can see that my first blog post of the year is very much boring. =.=
Can't blame me, I'm in the middle of preparing for trials! And what am I doing here?! BLOGGING???
ehem ehem.

Ok lah, gtg. Life's just so pathetic sometimes. But I like. Heh :)

Lastly, come come. Listen to Sam Tsui's perfect voice. *faints* (have been brainwashed by my roommate and bathroommates lately haha. everyday also listen to this)  Hee.

Evidence of NOT focusing

Yay people, it's weekend again! :)

Another hectic week had past and it's now time for me to recharge myself.

Bought 8 brilliant brightening masks recently. ♥ this brand from Taiwan =D Yay! (My skin's so happy)
Seriously, I really have to do something. My skin suck at the moment. T____T sobs.

Get Well Soon, my dear skin!

Black Pearl! Sake Yeast! Birds' Nest! Red Wine! etc etc.
Omeegoshh they sound Yummeeeey!!
( err... that's for the face ☺)

People nowadays are just so creative. They actually come out with these cool products. And thus our skin got pampered sooo much.. Tsk Tsk. Appreciate it lah my dear skin, I spent so much to feed you with good food so please be a good girl okay? I demand you to stay healthy and pretty!! haha

oh yea, I got love notes ♥ =)
Thank you so so so so much! xoxo

( lol it said that I'm oh-so-cute. HAHAHAHA )

Friday night:

Start: Prep time! yay I love studying!  *switched on study lamp, opened book with enthusiasm*

However, after some time....: ZzZz *stared at the clock*
Err, how much time left until prep time finish huh?

Lil Alien had lost her sanity after studying for a long time (long??!! are you sure? =.= tsk tsk).

So, yea. Apparently, I screwed up my second prep time by camwhoring, eating snacks, surfing the net..or to make it short, PLAYING. (Oopsyy. Shhh!)

I reckon that it's normal for not focusing 100% during prep time. You know, when there's no mood to study, it's really hard to concentrate, right?
For me, it's best to study really really hard until the fullest when your 'study mood' is there. Coz you never know when the mood will come back again.

Okay I guess that's it for today..just a short update anyway.
It's saturday night and I'm going out for shopping! =) Wee! *jumps up and down*
(well, not malls like the gardens or pavilion..haha we just want to get some groceries)

So, yea.
Have a great weekend people!
♡ you all :)
